EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani will be at the 81st edition of the Venice International Film Festival with two projects for which it has curated the visual effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In competition \u2018Diva Futura\u2019, directed by Giulia Louise Steigerwalt, produced by Groenlandia, PiperFilm and Rai Cinema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of competition in the new Series section , \u2018M: The Son of the Century\u2019 directed by Joe Wright. The eight-episode show is produced by Sky Studios and Lorenzo Mieli for The Apartment, a Fremantle Group company, in co-production with Path\u00e9, in association with Small Forward Productions, in collaboration with Fremantle, CINECITT\u00c0 S.p.A. and Sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diva Futura – The plot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in the 80s and 90s, it will tell the story of the erotic movies production “Diva Futura” founded in 1983 by Riccardo Schicchi and Ilona Staller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M The son of the century – The plot <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series will cover the period from the founding of Fasci Italiani in 1919 through to Mussolini\u2019s infamous speech in parliament following the murder of socialist MP Giacomo Matteotti in 1925. It will also provide viewers with an insight into Mussolini and his personal relationships, including with his wife Rachele, his lover Margherita Sarfatti, and with other iconic figures from the time. Like the novel, the series will tell the history of a country that surrendered to dictatorship and the story of a man who was able to rise from his ashes time and again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
